Ascendant Asset Advisors, Inc. is an alternative investment firm based in Beverly Hills, California that specializes in providing high quality investment programs to qualified clients in alternative markets.  Ascendant has managed individual accounts on behalf of our clients since 2005.  As of May 13, 2008, Ascendant manages more than $35,000,000 on behalf of its clients.

Ascendant strives to find the optimal balance between reward and risk for its investors.  Sophisticated investors who can afford to undertake the risks of a speculative investment program in managed futures products may enjoy significant benefits through participation in our trading programs.  Our primary strategy of writing options offers the potential to generate above-average profits through leverage.  Ascendant’s option writing strategy does not depend on market climate, including down-trending, up-trending, and sideways markets. However, there is unlimited risk in selling options.

Additionally, our strategy enables investors to diversify their overall investment portfolio, reducing their overall investment risk exposure.   Since we invest our clients’ assets primarily in broad market indices, our investors are usually better positioned to realize a profit or avoid a loss.

Ascendant does not charge any per trade commissions unlike other investment adviser firms.  Although we do charge a management fee in some programs, we do not earn a performance fee unless we achieve a positive return in an investor’s account.  In order to earn a performance fee, Ascendant must realize a new Net High in a client’s account that exceeds the High Water Mark of the previous 12 months.  Ascendant has a fiduciary duty to provide the best investment management services to each and every client:  Ascendant consistently uses our best efforts to meet your investment goals.

Ascendant is registered with the California Department of Corporations as an Investment Advisor firm and with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a Commodity Trading Advisor.  Ascendant is also a member of the National Futures Association.
